Vishal Moghe

      Vishal Moghe, from Gwalior, began singing at age 5 and later trained under Dr. Smita Sahastrabuddhe, Dr. Jayant Khot, and Pt. Balasaheb Poochwale of the Gwalior Gharana. He completed his Master's in Music with distinction from Lalit Kala Kendra, University of Pune, under Pt. Arun Kashalkar, following the Gwalior-Agra Gharana tradition. Vishal also trained under Pt. Sharad Sathe and is a recognized B-high grade artiste at All India Radio, Pune.

      Vishal Moghe has performed across India, earning accolades, including at the prestigious Raza Foundation, Delhi. His gayaki emphasizes aalaap, laykari, bol-banaav, and bol-baant, with skillful meend and gamak. A dedicated teacher, he follows the traditional Gurukul pattern and is associated with Lalit Kala Kendra and Bharati Vidyapeeth Gurukul in Pune. He also conducts online lessons and teaches at COEP Technological University. Residing in Pune, Vishal trains students from diverse backgrounds.

      Vishal Moghe has acted in musical dramas like "Jagane Vhave Gaane," "Sangeet Saubhadra," "Ghashiram Kotwal," and "Oos Donga Pari," performed in cities including Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur. He has also participated in Classical Music & Dance groups, traveling across India and Sri Lanka. Vishal provided playback for the acclaimed Marathi film “Bayo,” with music by Bhaskar Chandavarkar and direction by Gajendra Ahire.

      With all this background and feet firmly on the ground, Vishal Moghe is one of the most promising artistes who is dedicated to take forward the legacy of Indian Classical Music.
