Smt. Padma Deshpande, a renowned Indian classical vocalist from Kirana
Gharana has groomed Shruti in Hindustani classical & semi-classical genres.
Shruti has accompanied her Guru on various occasions; including the most
prestigious Sawai Gandharv Mahotsav many times & was very well appreciated
by the listeners. Recently Shruti performed at the prestigious “Sangeet
Samrat Tansen Samaroh – 2022” at Gwalior
She is recipient of prestigious “National Merit Scholarship of the
Government of India”. Shruti has done M.A. in music, from SNDT UNIVERSITY
PUNE.
Shruti is fortunate to get expert guidance from her Guru & renowned
vocalist from Agra Gharana, Dr. Pournima Dhumale. She also received guidance
for light music from Pt. Hemant Pendse is a well-known musician and
composer. Currently she is taking guidance from a renowned musicologist, a
great harmonium player, Dr. Arvind Thatte
