Dr. Rajendra P Karambelkar is a practicing Pediatrician (Child Specialist) from
Pune, India, since 1990. He comes from a family that loved Indian Classical
Music a lot, where the melody of classical music was enjoyed by all the family
members on All India Radio; it naturally became a passion.
During his college days at BJ Medical College, Pune; he
actively volunteered for the
reputed “Arts Circle of the BJ Medical College”. During those days, the
opportunities to closely interact with the nationally and internationally acclaimed
artists of Indian Classical Music (both vocal and instrumental) helped sustain his
desire to discover the nuances and joy of Indian Classical Music.
Currently he is learning the classical vocal music under Mrs.
Ankita Tambe, who is a
well known teacher and also one of the Creative Directors of the INCLAM.
While learning vocal classical music under Mrs. Ankita Tambe,
he conceived the idea
of producing this novel music that is a completely different style of the Indian
Classical Music, currently available to the listeners. This music is set to revive
one of the ancient forms of traditional Indian Classical Vocal Music. He is the
Producer of the project “Indian Classical Music-INCLAM”.
