In her early years, Priyal was initiated into Hindustani
music under the guidance of Pt. Mohan Karve
from Pune. She further honed her skills by completing her Masters in Music from
the University of
Pune under the esteemed vocalist, Mrs. Arati Ankalikar Tikekar, and received
advanced training from
the veteran singer of Gwalior gharana, Pt. Sharad Sathe.

With a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree
in Music from the University of Pune, Priyal holds a doctorate in music from
Savitribai Phule Pune University. This reflects her commitment to the academic
exploration of her craft.
Her talent has not gone unnoticed, as she has participated
in and won various competitions, earning accolades and renowned scholarships.
Priyal's performances have graced both major and minor cities across India,
leaving an indelible mark with her soul-stirring renditions.
Beyond the classical stage, Priyal's voice has found
expression in plays, jingles, and various musical projects. Notably, she has
enriched Marathi TV serials with her melodic contributions and has performed
Hindustani classical for television as well, solidifying her impact on varied
musical platforms.
Her proficiency in the Japanese language has not only
expanded her global reach but also made her the First Indian Singer to Perform a
Full Solo Concert of Japanese Songs in India. In 2013, she was invited to
perform a Japanese song for a Japanese reality show at NTV studio Tokyo by NTV
Japan, showcasing her versatility on an international stage.
As a flagbearer of Indian music, Priyal has been educating
international students from the U.S., U.K., Iran, and Japan. Her commitment to
spreading the essence of Indian classical music globally has established her as
an ambassador of cultural exchange.
Establishing her presence in the recording industry,
Priyal's classical CD has been published by the renowned label 'Sonic Octaves.'
In addition to her diverse musical journey, Priyal has lent her soulful voice to
'Upasana,' a CD for the Christian community in India. This testament to her
versatility and inclusivity further underscores the depth and breadth of her
