training under Dr. Madhusudan Patwardhan.

● Musical Training & Educational Qualification :
● She holds the Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Music from Center for Performing Arts,
University of Pune, (First Class First in Center for Performing Arts, University Of
Pune. May-2001)
● She also has a Masters Degree in Vocal Music which she completed with the
Distinction from Center for Performing Arts (Lalit Kala Kendra), University Of Pune.

● For the past 9 years, she is learning Classical Vocal music from well known Guru
Mrs. Shobha Abhyankar of the Mewati Gharana.
● She is also learning Semi Classical Vocal & Hindi Bhajans from Dr. Sanjeev Shende
for last nine years.
She is also a winner ( First Prize) at various competitions like Vile Parle
Music Circle, Mumbai Classical Vocal competition(Dec 2001), Dadar-Matunga
Cultural Centre, Mumbai Inter-College Light Music Competition (Dec 2002).
She has given Solo & Group Performances in Classical & light Music at many
places in Maharashtra, Delhi, Ahmadabad, Baroda and Mumbai.
She is also an accomplished playback singer and has given playback for the Drama
‘Seeta Swayamvar’ and ‘Mruchhakatik’, organized by Center for Performing Arts
(Lalit Kala Kendra) University Of Pune.
In a television serial “Ha Khel Sanchitacha” (Etv Marathi) she is a play back
singer for classical bandish with Shri Sanjeev Abhyankar.

She has been accompanying with Kathak Dancers for Vocal support and given vocal
support to likes of Mrs. Manisha Sathe, Mrs. Shama Bhate, Mrs. Shambhavi Vaze,
Sharvari Jamenis.
She has participated in Music Director & Arranger Mr. Narendra Bhide's own
Marathi composition "Shruti Chitre"
She has received personal blessings from the music greats like Shri. Ashok
Patki, Shri. Shreenivas Khale and Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
2. Achivements & Awards :
She was awarded scholarship for 5 years by Dadar-Matunga Cultural Center Mumbai
under the category of Gurushishya Parampara for Hindustani Classical Vocal
Music.
She was also awarded a scholarship for 2 years by Department Of Culture, Govt.
of India under the Category: Hindustani Classical Vocal Music.
She was the winner of Balgandharva Smruti Din” classical vocal competition,
Pune (July 1999)
She has been a winner at Sakal Natya Sangeet Competition Pune winning First
Prize for consecutively last three years.
