Ankita Tambe M.A. Music

      Ankita was one of the first people to appreciate the idea of a novel project to revive the old tradition of Indian Classical Music of elaborating the Raga in an unbound form. She is a Creative Director of INCLAM and has teamed with her husband Rajiv Tambe to ensure all the creative aspects of the project meet the exacting standard of Indian Classical music.

      She has been giving public performances in musical concerts from the age of 13 years. She runs her own musical academy, ‘Swarnaad’, in Chinchwad, Pune, imparting music lessons to children as well as adults, age group ranging from 7 years to 70 years.

      She has conducted many vocal and instrumental workshops for music learners under Swarnaad Academy with the help of her husband and well known Harmonium player Mr. Rajiv Tambe.

      She has worked with various schools in Pune for educating students Indian Vocal Classical Music as well as light form of Music.

      Besides being a popular music teacher, she continues to strive to enrich her knowledge of various forms of music. Even after remaining for 20 years in teaching she continues to be a student herself and is taking lessons for Classical and Semi-Classical music (Thumri, Dadra, Tappa etc.) under the able guidance of her Guru Dr. Sandhya Kathawate.
